His lifelong passion of becoming a physician was realized when he graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine with his Doctorate of Osteopathy in 1998. But soon the actual ART OF MEDICINE found his favor and he entered a dual residency in Emergency Medicine & Internal Medicine where he excelled, graduating in the Class of 2003.
From there, Dr. Lee found a home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for eight years and Saint Paul, Minnesota for another five. rachel Shearer, FNP, MSN
Rachel is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in family medicine, with a focus on all individuals of all ages across the lifespan. Preceding her career as a Nurse Practitioner, her experience of ten years in a hospital setting as a registered nurse consisted of adult emergency medicine, orthopedics, neurology, neurosurgery, and medical surgical nursing. Rachel started her nursing career in 2008 after obtaining her Associate’s degree from Oklahoma City Community College, and then in 2012 her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma. Her love of nursing and desire to challenge herself led Rachel to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis, MO, in 2019.
With a passion for patient care and advocacy, she grew frustrated in the hospital setting as she noticed the restrictions and access to care/treatment issues created by insurance companies and the mainstream work culture of her peers. Determined to make more of an impact in her career, Rachel pursued becoming a provider resolved to make the patient and their health a priority, regardless of insurance, while also making them feel comfortable and accepted. As a family nurse practitioner, Rachel is very excited to work with Dr. Lee and the other team members at The LifeStyle Clinic in providing high-quality and affordable healthcare explicitly tailored to meet the needs of our clients.
Rachel resides in Norman with her two dogs Smokey & Gretchen. Her hobbies include tennis, running, swimming, shopping, traveling, music, spending time with family/friends, and discovering others who are equally as quirky.
Shannon Murphy, LPC
I strongly believe that we need connection to heal and thrive. To connect with you, I hold space for you by being fully present, open minded, non-judgmental, and compassionate. With me, you will feel heard, respected, valued, seen, and deeply understood.
I enjoy working with all types of people but working with marginalized folks is my passion. I am a bisexual, polyamorous woman and understand what it’s like to feel different. I believe that a large part of who we are and why we are the way we are has to do with family, social, and societal influences that need to be acknowledged in order to heal and grow.
Clear, straightforward communication is something I value. This means I will point out your strengths and validate your experiences regularly. It also means that I will kindly challenge you so that you can see themes and patterns that are keeping you from getting where you want to be. Then we will reframe them and make a plan to get there.
